How long have you been dancing and what do you love most about it?
I've been dancing since I was five which means by now it's been 13 or 14 years. What I love most about ballet and the arts in general is the way it allows us to communicate and express ourselves in ways that go much deeper than words.
What has been your most memorable moment at Zurich Dance Academy?
The most memorable moment or time period for me was moving into my own apartment and living completely independently. This came with a lot of responsibility and freedom at the same time, which I loved.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hopefully making my way into better and better positions and roles in a company where I'm happy and feel comfortable.
The best feeling on stage is for me…
Getting to interact with other people while I'm dancing, especially during pas de deux. It's a great feeling to be a part of something bigger than yourself that you know will make an impact on people.
What advice would you give younger dancers hoping to grow and achieve their dreams in dance?
You might end up somewhere different than how you would have imagined, but if you are consistent and can keep yourself happy, you will succeed.
