Q & A

Nationality: Japanese
Plans after graduation: K-Ballet Tokyo

How long have you been dancing and what do you love most about it?
Actually, I don't remember when I started dancing. Because my mother is a ballet teacher and she took me to the studio since I was a baby, and somehow I started before I even realized it. Being able to share the feeling with people through dance is what I love the most. It is a very happy moment and very difficult to express in words.

What has been your most memorable moment at Zurich Dance Academy?
The best moment of my time at taZ was the Prix de Lausanne 2024. I learned many things through this competition. I experienced happiness, anger, depression, and joy with my classmates in the process of the competition. This is something I will treasure for the rest of my life. I am very grateful to the school for giving me this opportunity.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
Five years from now, I hope I will be in good health and have a wonderful ballet career. I hope to be surrounded by wonderful people like my classmates today.

The best feeling on stage is for me…
The best moment is when I get applause and praise from the audience.I feel very happy and fulfilled.

What advice would you give younger dancers hoping to grow and achieve their dreams in dance?
Keep working hard. There will come a time when you will be rewarded in some way. Believe strongly in yourself and be proud of what you have accomplished. Confidence will enrich your life.
