Nationality: Ukranian
Plans after graduation: Ballett Zürich Junior Company

How long have you been dancing and what do you love most about it?
I’ve been dancing for 8 years. From the very beginning, I felt a deep connection to dance—it seemed to complete me. Ballet, in particular, is such a beautiful and graceful art form. Dancing allows me to express myself and my emotions through various movements and combinations, portraying different characters and telling stories. That’s what makes it incredibly fun and exciting.

What has been your most memorable moment at Zurich Dance Academy?
Every day at taZ was special. Being a student here was a dream come true. Working daily with amazing teachers and choreographers and being accompanied by wonderful pianists was an incredible privilege. The friendships I made are something I will always be grateful for. A particularly memorable moment were the end-of-year performances. Watching the graduates take their final bow, embrace one another, and bid farewell to their teachers was profoundly moving. As I watched, I would picture myself in their shoes, aware that our turn was approaching, and now here we are, the 2024 taZ graduates.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years, I see myself as a healthy and happy individual, dancing in a prestigious company and surrounded by wonderful people.

The best feeling on stage is for me…
The best feeling on stage comes the moment you step into the spotlight—when all the stress and nerves fall away, and you’re able to just let go, enjoy the moment, and perform to the best of your ability, showcasing all the hard work from countless hours in the studio.

What advice would you give younger dancers hoping to grow and achieve their dreams in dance?
Never give up when faced with challenges. Set clear goals and work diligently towards achieving them. Remember, everything happens for a reason, and each step, whether forward or backward, is part of your journey.
