Course content.
In this minor, students specialize in the professional field of "Rehearsal Management". The requirements include both artistic and production practice. This minor focuses on running rehearsals and training sessions in artistic processes, practical knowledge of documentation, notation, as well as the engagement with different working methods. You will analyse and discuss ethical standards in traditional and contemporary artistic productions. Moreover, you will learn communication and feedback methods as well as the logistical aspects of artistic productions.
The minor, offered by the Dance discipline, is taught in English and aimed at Bachelor’s and Master’s students. It is open to students of all departments, and offered once a year.

– In-depth knowledge and experience to independently plan, and run rehearsals and training sessions
– Analysis of and reflection on artistic working processes in the ethical and social context
– Develop your own communication skills and learn a variety of feedback methods
– Assume responsibility for running artistic production processes
Admissions requirements.
This minor is aimed at Bachelor’s and Master’s students from all study areas of ZHdK. Applicants must have B2 English language skills or higher and be interested in the professional field of rehearsal management to participate in this minor.
