Florence Borggrefe is a philosopher and literary scholar. As a research associate at the Research Focus Aesthetics at the ZHdK, she works on pragmatist aesthetics and action theory, feminist care ethics and contemporary artistic practices dealing with care. She holds a doctoral scholarship of the German National Academic Foundation and is a member of the doctoral program «Epistemologies of Aesthetic Practices» at swissuniversities as well as a doctoral candidate at Leuphana University Lüneburg. In the autumn semester of 2024, she was invited to be a visiting scholar at the University of Graz. She studied History, Philosophy and German Studies (M.Ed.) at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg, the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Stuttgart.
