Training and courses

Our training and courses provide you with an overview of the MIZ library services and help you to acquire skills in finding, managing and using information.

  • We have developed a differentiated training concept for our students that is integrated into the curriculum.
  • The MIZplus series of courses provides compact, practical information for all members of the university.
  • The MIZ Rundgang app is suitable for getting to know the MIZ and its architecture independently.

MIZplus courses

MIZplus courses are designed to impart practical information about various MIZ library services in a concise format. In ninety minutes, participants gain useful skills in, say, research on databases, research methodology, or on how to work with the Media Archive.
The courses are open to all members of the university; some are also offered in English.
