Learning objectives and target audience
Creativity coaching with aesthetic-oriented interventions opens up new paths and opportunities from a limitation that is deemed problematic. Creativity coaching can also be understood as supporting and introducing clients, artists, designers and students to their creative side.
When coaches, advisers and mentorees in the CAS Creativity Coaching connect with their own creative potential, they learn how to organize their role and function more professionally โ more openly and with more satisfaction in their now enriching, forward-thinking everyday working life. As creative coaches (mentors, advisors), they are also able to make optimum use of their playful, intuitive experience in advisory situations, and also be innovative and offer new perspectives/ideas.
Skills acquired in the course
- Students train in situations in order to be able approach people in a flexible, open manner.
- Students are interested in practical training that will assist them to develop on a personal level.
- Students acquire specialist knowledge which enables them to undertake coaching and also develop their own personal coaching style.
- Students learn how to reflect in advisory sessions and to hone their own skills in advisory practice.
- Students learn how to develop a coaching stance that is based on their own personal skills as well as on authenticity, active listening and thought.
Target audience
The CAS Creativity Coaching is aimed at forward-thinking practitioners who would like to learn about the originality and uniqueness of a coaching approach that focuses on creativity concepts in practical training, and also apply it in their own work.
Participants are prepared to reflect on their thoughts, feelings and behaviour on a regular basis as well as to learn to cope with insecurities, inner obstacles and blind spots, and to accept and shape them accordingly.
They are equipped with a three-part skill set: for a successful advisory relationship, for methodological skills and above all for an effective stance. These skills are applied in individual coaching, i.e. in a one-on-one setting (coach and coachee) in organizations and companies, in advisory sessions, mentoring on personal issues, and in professional projects.
Either the CAS Creationshipยฎ or an equivalent degree or continuing education course is deemed to be a suitable preparatory qualification.
