How do you share art with the public? In the Minor in "Exhibiting and Making Public", you approach this question from the artist’s perspective. You learn about analogue and digital formats, venues, and media of exhibiting and publishing. You delve into economic and legal aspects of exhibiting and publishing and familiarize yourself with the operations of various institutions and public spaces, including museums, galleries, artist-run spaces, art fairs, and digital platforms. You explore the history of exhibition-making and publishing and consider potential future trajectories.
