The Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in Art Education, Cultural Critique and Transdisciplinary Studies in the Arts prepare students for dynamic professional fields at the interface between art, culture, media and society with specific Major programmes in Cultural Publishing, Curatorial Studies, Critical Social Practice in Art Education and Teaching Art. Creative, educational and research practices are always underscored with theory, questioned and designed with possible futures in mind. Academic exchange on current questions and problems is fostered beyond ZHdK.
Practical projects and cooperations with cultural, social and scientific institutions in Switzerland and abroad are elementary components of the teaching and form the basis for individual professional focuses and networks.
