Research cluster

DIZHโ€™s Research cluster aims to promote interdisciplinary, cross-university research on digitalization issues. We want to pool the different skills and capacities of our partner institutions in order to facilitate new perspectives on the digitalization process and enable innovative forms of collaboration. ZHdK contributes to the activities within the Research cluster via its Immersive Arts Space (IAS), contact: Prof. Dr. Chris Salter, and the Zurich Centre for Creative Economies (ZCCE), contact: Prof. Dr. Frรฉdรฉric Martel.

Innovation program

DIZHโ€™s Innovation program is one of the initiativeโ€™s core components. Our partner universities are running various types of innovative digitalization projects with the private and public sector. This is intended to bring research findings closer in line with practical real-world applications and also allows researchers to consider the needs and experiences of their partners in industry and government. Here the following characteristics of innovation play an important role: being open to taking risks, incorporating a variety of disciplines, creating value and working together.

Education program

The Education program aims to act as an incubator for teaching development in the digital transformation at universities over a period of ten years. It also promotes collaboration between Zurichโ€™s cantonal universities to enable innovative developments in teaching. This creates optimal conditions for using and benefiting from the potential of the digital transformation for education. The DIZH Education program supports the programme Digital Skills & Spaces at ZHdK, contact: Renato Soldenhoff.
