Strengthening the intercultural competencies of its staff and students and promoting international opportunities and perspectives is a strategic priority at ZHdK.
Studying at ZHdK prepares young people for an interconnected, digital, and agile working world. In order to strengthen their international profile, students have the opportunity to spend a semester at a ZHdK partner university abroad, to choose from study programmes involving foreign partner universities or international guest lecturers, as well as to apply for project funding via the ZHdK Fund for Intercultural Student Projects.
For staff, there are also several formats available. For example, university staff and lecturers can complete a short-term exchange at a partner university abroad as part of the Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP) or apply for annual project funding from the ZHdK Fund for Intercultural Faculty and Mid-Tier Staff Projects. In addition, there are opportunities offered as part of internal training, such as individual coaching or a workshop on the topic of โintercultural competenciesโ.
