Join us on 03 April 2025 for ZHdK’s International Day 2025 titled ESCAPE ARTISTS. How to Change Human History.
For this year’s event, we will welcome Professor David Wengrow, archaeologist and co-author of the international bestseller The Dawn of Everything: A New History of Humanity. In conversation with Anselm Franke, Professor of Curatorial Studies (ZHdK), and Judith Siegmund, Professor of Philosophical Aesthetics (ZHdK), Wengrow will be discussing how to escape from the contemporary traps of our political imaginary and ‘to change the course of human history’. A contribution by artist and video essayist Ursula Biemann, as well as targeted questions from Curatorial Studies students will complement the discussion.
