Archive ZHdK

The Archive of the Zurich University of the Arts preserves and explains the story, past and present, of the university and the institutions which preceded it and which have all been dedicated to providing professional training in art, design, theatre, dance and music.

In addition to holding administrative files from these many institutions, the Archive of the ZHdK is an important source of information about education in the applied, performing and fine arts in Switzerland since the end of the 19th century. It also houses the exhibition archives of the Zurich Museum of Design and the Museum Bellerive. These archive holdings can be viewed and searched in the eMuseum database.
