Biography
IMPORTANT NOTICE: I am not affiliated with any audio/studio equipment or service sales. Unfortunately, some individuals misused my identity and public position for scams. Be wary!
I received the Laurea (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Verona, Italy, in 2010.
My current research focuses on human-computer interaction through (non-speech) audio and haptic feedback, including models and applications for interactive sound synthesis and vibrotactile rendering.
I served as the PI for two research projects funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (AHMI, grant no. 150107, 2014-2016; HAPTEEV, grant no. 178972, 2018-2022), and I co-edited the open-access book 'Musical Haptics' (Springer Series on Touch and Haptic Systems, 2018).
