Biography
Julie Born Schwartz studied Fine Art at The Royal Academy Schools and Goldsmiths in London.
Born Schwartz's practice is focused on constructing large scale narratives, that find their form in installations employing moving image, audio, photography and sculpture. Born Schwartz's work is inspired by anthropological working methods. Her projects start with conversations and are typified by a strong commitment to people and the stories they tell. The projects develops through several years of research and field recordings before taking shape in mixed media installations.
