At ZHdK, we strive to make research in the arts and design transparent and accessible to the public. The university’s Open Science services provide ZHdK members with guidelines, digital infrastructures, consultations, training as well as financial support in the area of Open Access.
Open Science is based on the four fundamental principles of transparency, reproducibility, reusability and open communication. To promote Open Science, the Research Office and the Media and Information Centre (MIZ) at ZHdK work closely together. The interdepartmental Research Support Working Group serves as a professional exchange and initiates practical and strategic measures in the area of Open Science. The ZHdK adopted its Open Access Policy in 2018 and its Research Data Policy in 2019.
