โInternationalisation@homeโ and socio-culture have long been self-evident aspect of school and extracurricular projects and course offerings in the field of music. School music in particular has been working with children and teachers from immigrant backgrounds for decades. The development of music projects with heterogeneously composed groups has therefore been the subject of didactic discussion for many years. The project questions programmes in music and movement and school music increasingly from the point of view of socio-culture. The Department for Continuing Education in Music has already included specific ways of professionalizing its students by incorporating the โCAS Socio-cultureโ and the โCommunity Musicโ module in its programme. Possible forms of cooperation between representatives of the ZHdK Department of Music and the ZHAW School of Social Work will be investigated in order to make the necessary curricular adjustments.
