In January, Sasha Davydova will travel to the foggy and snow-covered town of Slavonski Brod for three days, and stops for a bite to eat at Zvonko. They eat eucalyptus menthol sweets, listen to Croatian radio and cook something light for the evening, using food which has accumulated in Zvonko’s fridge. The performance Talking Ghosts explores how story-telling transforms first-hand experience into realities, how they are documented and shown around the world. What does it mean to exhibit to an audience and to engage with your self-image?
