nanoo.tv
The platform nanoo.tv, which allows TV programmes to be recorded and archived using a web-based video recorder, arose from the vision of creating a joint film archive for Swiss universities via the SWITCH network. nanoo.tv was developed by the Media and Information Centre MIZ and the Information Technology Centre ITZ at ZHdK in partnership with Werft22. The resulting film platform is aimed not only at university members but at users from all levels of education.
The steadily growing collection MIZ Video online currently comprises around 21'000 recordings of TV programmes associated with ZHdK’s teaching and research fields – fine and media art, design, film, music, dance and theatre. The feature, documentary, experimental, music and animation films are available for streaming online and can be found on the swisscovery catalogue. They can be accessed by the members of the ZHdK via SWITCH’s edu-ID, for external private users via the Switch edu-ID in conjunction with the SLSKey authorization of the MIZ.
