SLSKey (formerly PURA)

SLSKey enables individuals to access selected electronic resources, which are usually only available to members of the university or institution. The offered e-resources are thus not only accessible within the library, but from everywhere.

The MIZ offers access with SLSKey for the following products:

  • MIZ Video online (nanoo.tv): A growing film archive with almost 21,000 recordings of television programs. read more
  • medici.tv: The leading streaming portal for classical music in collaboration with renowned orchestras, opera houses and ballet companies; furthermore with a Jazz collection.
  • AVA: Streaming platform with European and international arthouse cinema.
  • filmfriend: Over 3,500 selected films and series, including a range especially for children and young people. read more
  • National licences: More than 6 million articles from Springer Journals Archive, Oxford Journals Archive, De Gruyter Journals Archive, Cambridge Journals Archive. read more

Conditions of participation

  • You are a private individual with residence in Switzerland and use SLSKey exclusively for your personal and private use.
  • You have a valid swisscovery user account.
  • You accept our terms of use.
  • To validate or renew your home access, contact the MIZ once a year.

Registration

  1. Register for swisscovery.
  2. Come to the information desk at the MIZ. Your swisscovery enrolment will be checked, you will receive a swisscovery badge if you wish and your SLSKey authorisation will be activated for 12 months. Alternatively, you can also submit your application via the registration form, in which case a scan or photo of an official ID (e.g. identity card) is required. Activations and renewals by telephone are not possible.

Login

To log in, use the Switch edu ID with your personal password.

If several identities are displayed in the login window, select "Private person".

PURA login

The SLSKey authorization of the MIZ is not transferable to the services offered by other libraries via SLSKey. If you wish to use them, please also have yourself activated for SLSKey in the corresponding libraries.
