The exchange with other artists, and visits to their studios and ateliers, are an important part of the teaching in the arts. A pilot call last year provided funding for various projects on the topic of “digital excursions” at ZHdK, such as the workshop “The Nature of Intelligence | The Intelligence of Nature”, the virtual lecture series “Linking cultures”, the exchange with artists via Digital Studio Visits, a digital study trip to Guatemala, and the project “Digital drawing excursions to fellow human beings”.
A virtual visit to CERN gave students from all disciplines an insight into the conception and implementation of international and intercultural projects.
Students and lecturers in Fine Arts received an award for “Travelling Light” to Slowenia.
