Some love it, some hate it, and many of us sometimes love it and sometimes hate it: Home-X, aka, the fact that during the last year, our homes have been converted into workplace, place of study, rehearsal room, kindergarden, school, gym and much more. The different worlds which we navigate daily have merged and blurred - not only in terms of the physical space, but also on a technical, psychological and interpersonal level. No doubt this harbours a lot of potential for friction and requires a great deal of organisation and tolerance, but it can also provide great comedy and fuel innovative approaches and creative ideas.
ZHdK has been supporting its members throughout the challenges of Home-X (with ZHdK Login) in various ways; for example by offering workshops on Self-Management for WFH as part of the project โDestination Digitalโ. The Digital Reports + Fictions campaign further provides impetus and opportunities for a focussed and critical engagement with the issues around Home-X in order to use the lessons from the Corona crisis for the future of the university and to consciously shape the transition to a new "normality".
