Applicants must complete the following requirements for admission to the Master's degree program: Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree in a design or design-related discipline (e.g. architecture, art, computer science, media communication, sociology).
The curriculum model requires students to define an independent project or choose from proposed collaborative projects and manage them independently over the course of their studies. This requires attendance in the compulsory modules, a proactive dialogue with mentors, teaching staff and researchers and the use of existing subject-specific skills in the Department of Design and beyond.
In the Master's programme, students can work on projects with research institutions and business partners. Complete information can be found in the respective Degree Programme Regulations (MDE Degree Programme Regulations, Regulatory Framework).
