Biography
From April 2018 to March 2024, she was a research associate at the Research Focus Aesthetics. In the winter semester of 2023, she served as a guest professor at the Institute for Theater, Film, and Media Studies at the University of Vienna, and in 2022, she was as a guest professor for media philosophy at the Institute for Philosophy at the University of Vienna. In the winter semester of 2021, she was a visiting professor for media theory at the Department of Media Studies at the University of Bonn. From 2018 to 2022, she served as the coordinator of the doctoral program "Epistemologies of Aesthetic Practices." Previously, she worked as a research associate and coordinator at the Center for Media Anthropology at the Bauhaus-University Weimar, and prior to that, she worked at the International Research Center for Cultural Techniques and Media Philosophy, where she initiated and coordinated the DFG-funded project "Positions and Perspectives of German and Czech Media Philosophy" in 2013/2014. In 2017, she defended her dissertation on "Gestures of Thought: Vilém Flusser's Media Philosophy" at the Bauhaus-University Weimar. Her research interests include media philosophy, media theory, aesthetics, philosophy of technology, and the relationship between performativity, mediality, and reflexivity in 20th and 21st-century philosophy.
