Entry-Level Competencies
In accordance with the Minor Allocation Regulations, students must undergo an aptitude assessment to demonstrate that they possess the required entry-level competencies:
- Able to independently produce their music at a semi-professional level
- Able to demonstrate a knowledge of sound synthesis, recording, mixing, and mastering, as well as a quick pace to create layouts
- Able to express oneself in the field of composing-arranging with the means of jazz and pop
Students who have completed the Minor in Producing Composing Music – basic are not required to undergo an aptitude assessment. They have already demonstrated that they possess the required competencies through their admission to their degree programme.
